State Senator Bert Stedman serves as a founding member of the CSA State Legislative Council of Elected Officials. He represents Sitka in the Alaska State Senate and serves as Co-Chair of the Senate Finance Committee. A leader on the Energy Council, Senator Stedman’s stewardship of Alaska’s resource economy connects directly to the questions of American energy strength, Pacific Rim strategy, and Arctic security that CSA’s work engages. CSA met with Senator Stedman during its March 2026 Juneau legislative briefing, and he joined the State Legislative Council that same year as CSA prepares for its North Slope delegation.
