Secretary Chris Wright serves as the United States Secretary of Energy. Prior to his confirmation, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Energy, one of the largest oilfield services companies in North America, where he built a global team and was widely regarded as one of the most thoughtful and effective voices in the U.S. energy sector. Secretary Wright was a long-standing leader on the CSA Board prior to his appointment, and joins CSA’s Emeritus members serving in public service. CSA hosted a Board dinner with Secretary Wright and the Ambassador of Argentina in Washington in May 2025.
