Sander Gerber is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Hudson Bay Capital Management LP, a hedge fund with over $10-billion in assets under management and offices in New York, Connecticut, Miami and London.
Mr. Gerber is a long-time advocate for Israel and the Jewish people. In 2017, the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) awarded Mr. Gerber its Henry M. Jackson Distinguished Service Award for championing the Taylor Force Act, a bipartisan bill that cuts US funding to the Palestinian Authority, specifically for the PA’s official program that pays salaries to terrorists and provides other rewards to terrorists and their families.
Mr. Gerber served on the National Board of Directors of The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) from 2004 to 2016. He is a board member of the American Conservative Union and the Republican Jewish Coalition.
In 2008, President George W. Bush appointed Mr. Gerber as the Vice Chairman of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars for a six-year term. Mr. Gerber is a fellow and board member at the Jerusalem Center of Public Affairs, a distinguished fellow at JINSA, and a member of the Council of Foreign Relations as well as the New York Economic Club.
Mr. Gerber graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, with a BSE in Finance from Wharton and a BA in Humanistic Philosophy from the College of Arts and Sciences.
