Melissa Simpson represents Western Energy Alliance on the CSA Partnership Society. As President of Western Energy Alliance, she leads one of the principal trade associations representing independent oil and natural gas producers operating on federal lands across the West. Western Energy Alliance’s work bridges the producing states of the Rocky Mountain region and Washington, D.C., and Ms. Simpson’s engagement with CSA strengthens the link between Western American energy production and the national-security questions CSA exists to inform. She joined the Partnership Society in 2026.
